Fourth MCNPX-PoliMi Training Workshop
The Detection for Nuclear Nonproliferation group at the University of Michigan is pleased to present the fourth MCNPX-PoliMi Training Workshop. The workshop will take place at the University of Michigan’s North Campus on June 13, 2014. Below you can find lodging, and general information. If you are interested in attending please email Shaun Clarke at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prof. Sara A. Pozzi
MCNPX-PoliMi is built from MCNPX version 2.7.0. Licenses for these two codes can be requested from the Radiation Safety Information Computational Center (RSICC) website (rsicc.ornl.gov). The workshop will be interactive, involving several radiation detection problems of interest to the group. Workshop attendees with the MCNPX and MCNP-PoliMi codes properly installed on their laptops can follow along. All of the exercises at the workshop will be done on the Windows version of MCNPX-PoliMi; Mac users can run a virtual Windows OS.
